Alpha Estate Red

Area / Vineyard: Amyntaio Viticulture Zone.

Vinification / Aging: Degassing, absence of compressor, pre-fermentation cold extraction, alcoholic fermentation at increasingly graded temperatures. Stay the wine for a long time in its wine sludges with periodic stirring. 18 months in new French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle before its commercial release. It is not filtered and there is absolutely no treatment before bottling.

Taste characteristics: Bright, deep ruby ​​color with violet highlights. Intense and complex bouquet, earthy, with notes of red fruit, dried plum and pepper. Taste generous, velvety, round, balanced, full-bodied, with notes of vanilla, oak and mocha. The aftertaste is characterized by the taste balance and the ripe tannins, the long retention of its aromas which are dominated by the notes of spices and dried fruits of the forest.

Harmony: Combines harmoniously with red meats, grilled or with rich sauces, sweet or spicy, hairy game and meat pies. Cretan gruyere, batzos or kefalograviera sahanaki.

Ideal enjoyment at 16-18º C.
